I service and restore vintage guitar amps, keyboards and combo organs.  I have found that repair shops simply don't want to be "bothered" with these timeless classics.  Vox Continental, Vox Super Continental, Vox Jaguar, Farfisa, Leslie, Crumar, Univox, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond are my specialties. Satisfied customers send them to me from all over the USA, since no one else seems to want to work on them in their area.

Congratulations on owning a Vox Continental, Vox Super Continental, Vox Jaguar or Farfisa organ. If you have problems with any of the notes or vibrato, you can remove the problem tone or vibrato circuit board and mail to me for repair. The repair cost for one board is $75 plus shipping; two or more for $60 each  plus shipping. I have been repairing Vox and Farfisa Combo organs for almost 42 years and I have yet to come across one that fully worked! People test them by pulling out all the stops and playing the keys. This usually sounds good, but the problems are masked. Always some notes are improperly working. Here is the correct way to test for proper operation. With the test information, I can properly repair your problem.

How to test your Vox Continental/Super Continental Keyboard

Step 1.  Pull out the two volume drawbars all the way out, to maximum. These are the two dark colored ones on the right side.

Step 2.  Push in all the white drawbars. The keys should not sound.

Step 3.  Then pull out the lowest white drawbar all the way. Play each and every key of the entire keyboard. All keys should sound fine with no distortion or jumps in octaves or warbles or odd tones. Write down the keys that are bad for this white drawbar.

Step 4.  Then again push in all white drawbars and then pull out the next white (second) drawbar all the way and then play each and every key of the entire keyboard. All notes should sound good with no distortion or jumps in octaves or warbles or odd tones.

Step 5.  Repeat step 1, step 2 and step 3 for all the white drawbars. Write down the bad keys each white drawbar.

How to test your Vox Jaguar,  Farfisa or any other Keyboard

Do the same procedure as for the Continental, but substitute the rocker tab switches in place of the drawbars.  Write down the bad keys for each rocker tab.
